About Anna Doren

Anna Doren is an attorney at Barkan Meizlish DeRose Cox, LLP, where she focuses her practice on employment law and complex wage-and-hour litigation. Anna represents employees in class and collective actions involving violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage laws. Her work centers on holding employers accountable for unlawful pay practices, including unpaid wages, minimum wage violations, unlawful tip practices, off-the-clock work, and misclassification.
Anna plays an active role in all stages of litigation, from investigating potential claims and developing legal strategy to managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions, and preparing cases for trial. She regularly works on complex matters involving multiple plaintiffs and large evidentiary records and is dedicated to building strong cases that protect workers’ rights and ensure employers comply with wage-and-hour laws
Anna is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice ("OAJ"), the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association ("OELA"), and the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), where she remains engaged with developments in employment law and wage-and-hour litigation.
Outside of her legal practice, Anna enjoys spending time with her two cats, shopping, and watching comedy movies. Her combination of legal expertise, compassion, and community involvement makes her a passionate advocate for her clients.
