Trout v. Dorman Products, Inc. and RB Distribution, Inc

Barkan Meizlish DeRose Cox LLP filed a lawsuit against Dorman Products and R.B. Distribution, Inc. in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania before Honorable Judge Younge. This case — which is filed under case number 2:25-cv-7206 — claims that for the last three (3) years Dorman Products and RB Distribution failed to properly pay their jointly-employed distribution center employees in Tennessee for all hours they worked. Specifically, Mr. Trout alleges that these defendants failed to include the shift differential he received for working on the weekend when calculating his overtime rate of pay. Mr. Trout also claims that defendants failed to pay him for all of the time he spent working for them. Defendants' actions violated the Fair Labor Standards Act and Plaintiff seeks to recover lost wages, liquidated damages and attorneys' fees on behalf of himself and all other employees who may have been impacted.
